Starter David Hernandez (4-6) took the loss after allowing three runs in just four innings. Hernandez was pulled with his pitch count at 96...

The Birds managed just four hits, and their lone run scored on a wild pitch...Nolan Reimold's triple was the teams' only extra base hit...the Birds drew eight walks but couldn't capitalize...the team went 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position and stranded 11 men on base.
