Huff Goes Deep as O's Drop Angels

The Orioles took out the Angels for the first time this season, topping them 6-4 on Friday night.

The Birds backed rookie starter David Hernandez (2-2) early...Luke Scott hit a 2-run double in the first inning, and Aubrey Huff launched a 3-run shot in the third. The O's added another run in the fourth to take a commanding lead.

Hernandez took advantage of the six run cushion, and allowed three runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings while walking two and striking out two. Jim Johnson escaped the eighth after allowing a run, and George Sherrill induced a game-ending double play to pick up his 18th save.

The Birds continue the four-game set on Saturday night...Jason Berken (1-5) looks to get back on track against the Halos...Go O's!!

O' Yeah...
