Birds Blow Early Lead, Fall in Finale

The Birds blew an early lead and eventually fell to the Texas Rangers on Monday, 6-4.

Jeremy Guthrie was spotted a 4-0 lead but couldn't keep the Rangers' bats at bay, and left after five innings with a 4-3 lead. Matt Albers came on to start the sixth and stunk it up...in 2/3 of an inning Albers gave up three runs off three hits and a walk...that pretty much sealed the deal.

Honestly, I'm getting tired of blaming the pitching for these losses...the O's offense scored four runs in the first two innings and then couldn't do a thing over the final seven frames. This isn't the first time...or the second...if the bats can't produce then the Birds have no chance to contend this season.

That's it...I said it.

With that said, let's drop Gregg Zaun and bring up Matt Wieters. I'm guessing Wieters can bat .100...

Pretty disgusted right now, if you can't tell...let's hope Adam Eaton can perform another miracle tomorrow night...
