Tillman Can't Tame Tigers

The Orioles dropped their fourth straight on Friday night after falling 5-1 to the visiting Texas Rangers.

Starter Chris Tillman gave up five runs on seven hits over six innings in the loss. Tillman (1-3) walked three and struck out four and left after throwing 110 pitches (70 for strikes).

Three relievers combined for three innings of one-hit ball, but the O's offense managed just one run on four hits against Texas.

Brian Roberts batted third in the lineup to fill in for Adam Jones, and knocked in the Birds' only run in the sixth inning. Dave Trembley plans on keeping Roberts in the three-hole for the remainder of the season...

The Birds send lefty Brian Matusz (3-2) to the mound on Saturday afternoon...the game will be televised nationally on FOX...hopefully the team shows up...Go O's!

O' Yeah...
