The O's couldn't complete the sweep in New York on Sunday afternoon, falling 13-3 to the Yankees.
I was busy watching the Ravens win, but had to flip back-and-forth for the O's score...
Jeremy Guthrie (10-14) took the loss but kept the game close into the sixth inning...Guthrie allowed five runs off 12 hits through 5 2/3 innings while walking three and striking out four.
The Birds' bullpen was blasted for eight runs in the eighth inning, giving the Yankees a rout and ending any chance of the O's sweeping the Yanks in New York for the first time since 1986.
Next up...the Tampa Bay Rays come to Baltimore for a 3-game set...David Hernandez takes the mound on Monday night...Go O's!
