The Birds dropped game one against the Minnesota Twins on Monday night, falling 2-1.
Rookie starter Chris Tillman (1-2) took the loss though he allowed just two runs over 5 1/3 innings. Tillman allowed six hits and three walks while striking out one. The bullpen didn't allow a hit through the final frames...
Brian Roberts RBI double in the third gave the O's an early 1-0 lead, but it just wasn't enough...the Birds managed just four hits in the game.
The Birds look for the offense to return on Tuesday night...Brian Matusz (2-2) takes the mound...Go O's!
